Grad­u­ated and with a PhD in Agro­nomic Sciences, she was a professor at Agronomy Supe­rior Insti­tute of Lisbon Univer­sity. She published scien­tific texts in peer-reviewed jour­nals, books and book chap­ters, as well as tech­nical arti­cles in special­ized agri­cul­tural maga­zines. Worth mentioning, the collab­o­ra­tion in SULCO, since its begin­ning (1972), the Portuguese edition of the Deere & Co maga­zine.
