Tractors“This is a real workhorse”

Twins Tom and Will Carlisle were pleased to have an addition to their fleet during harvest season – the S790i Hillmaster.

Tom and Will Carlisle share a lot: Their passion for agriculture, for John Deere machines and their birthday. The twins together with their family run Rowles Farm in West Ilsley, Berkshire, in the UK. Cows, pigs, horses and alpacas live on the farm, with wheat, barley and rapeseed grown on about 1000ha.

With the Active Terrain Adjust function, we can harvest quickly and efficiently – even on our hilly fields.

Last year the harvest season was particularly exciting. The brothers were sitting in the cab of a new S790i Hillmaster combine, which was warmly welcomed and still makes them happy. “Our fields are very hilly,” explains Tom. “With the Active Terrain Adjust function, this is no longer a problem for us. We can harvest quickly and efficiently.” Will adds: “The 735-draper header helps us on the farm as it leaves precise stubble height. This is a benefit as accurate stubble height is crucial for oilseed rape establishment.”
